Our cemeteries are consecrated, meaning that they are sacred grounds. This is one of the many reasons to choose to be buried in a Catholic cemetery. This also means that we have regulations to uphold the sacredness, promote safety for our grounds crew, and maintain our machinery. Please look at our regulations below, as they will be enforced by our staff and grounds crew.
Plants may only be planted on graves you purchased. Plants are permitted within 12 inches of the headstone (usually on the west side of each grave). Plants may be planted during the growing season. Any plants remaining at the end of the growing season may be removed (unless perennials). Perennials will be trimmed down if not trimmed by families prior to the end of the growing season. Any plants not well cared for will be removed. No trees or shrubs may be planted without prior approval.
